Scott Alan Meyers
Scott Meyers is more than a candidate for Congress — he’s a lifelong Southern California resident, small business owner, mentor, and committed member of his community.
Rooted in the Community
Scott is a proud graduate of Simi Valley High School, where he lettered in track as a sprinter — an experience that taught him discipline, endurance, and the value of hard work.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from UCLA and went on to attend Pepperdine Law School. Scott passed the California Bar on his first attempt and has practiced civil law for 37 years. For 26 years, he has been a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
As a small business owner, Scott understands firsthand the pressures facing entrepreneurs — rising costs, regulation, payroll, and taxes. He knows what it means to sign the front of a paycheck.
Family & Relationships
Scott has been in a committed relationship for eight years and values loyalty and family.
He is the proud godfather of adorable three-year-old twin girls who keep him laughing and remind him why the future matters. He grew up playing on his church softball team and believes community starts locally — in neighborhoods, churches, and friendships.
Civic Leadership
Scott believes leadership requires action. He was one of the chief proponents of the Nithya Raman Recall effort, and challenging Congresswoman Laura Friedman on her poor policy judgment. He believes in standing up for accountability and local representation when he believed the community was not being served.
He has never been afraid to take principled stands.
Beyond Politics
When he’s not practicing law or meeting with voters, Scott enjoys staying active and exercising regularly. He plays the piano, enjoys a competitive game of Scrabble, and appreciates the discipline and focus that both music and strategy require.
Scott believes character matters. Work ethic matters. Integrity matters.
His life reflects the values he wants to bring to Congress: accountability, perseverance, and a commitment to serving others.
